UNDERSTANDING IPHONES ANNUAL UPGRADES

Every year tech enthusiasts like me get excited about the new flagship and midrange refresh from the companies like Samsung, Xiaomi and Apple. Well most people look forward for big leaps in upgrades both software and hardware booth in functionality and just aesthetics. This is not always the case with all brands though.

In a world where Samsung has been bending the screen edges from the galaxy S6 edge to folding them since the first gen galaxy z fold and z flip, apple has been having minimal upgrades. This leaves many people to wonder why they are not being a s innovative as their competition but we should try and understand something, apple hates experimenting. And this is a good thing for consumers who wants a functioning device and not just picking up gimmicks. Not saying folding screens are a gimmick they are far from that. Look at what happened to the 1st gen Z fold, Samsung had to recall back the cracked displays from the people who bought them. This happened because the technology wasn’t ready yet but Samsung had to rush in the name of becoming the first folding phone manufacturer.

iPhone sure looks mostly the same from year to year in appearance but they play safe and add proven and working stuff. Their 12mp lenses still beat the competition that are using crazy 108mp lenses, truth be told I’d love to see what iPhone can do with such a lens with their superior camera software algorithm

iphone 7 plus available for ios 15

Iphone will eventually make a folding phone but they will when they feel the tech has matured enough to be just another feature in a phone. This is the same company that is updating its 7-year-old iPhone 6s and 6s plus to iOS 15. That is incredible. Same company that also slowers the phone so that you get the most out of your battery, sure that’s extreme but hey tough love. Iphone plays same, we might not like it but its a sensible way of doing things sometimes
